To build TRUST, you must REMEMBER the NAMES

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science

There is some value in everything we think about no matter how cliché it may sound. Nature puts us in different situations which sometimes require nerve-wracking determination and if we were to take over those challenges, it is important to not let thoughts of giving up invade the mind. In reality, facing those challenges has made us the true person we stand today. In the philosophical world, they say it is not the logic or common sense that derives the human emotions; instead, it is a choice that humans make with their conscious mind to act in a certain way they want to act. This blog is a further extension of this problem statement.

Many among us are lucky enough to reach the desired destination within a short pace of time and some might take more than the required time to make it to the end goal. But the truth remains that everybody is bound to reach their destination with some time exceptions, of course.

What makes us successful?

It’s the ability to remember the names. People with outstanding memory skills remember the names of things that help them set their impact in any particular field. This is a choice that humans make voluntarily every single day. To achieve good marks in any subject, one needs to memorize the terms and functions. It is the process of remembering the names. Those who remember the names easier make it to the top list. On the other hand, there are other students in the same academic world who are very good at extracurricular activities but poor at remembering the names. Hence, they lag behind in their academic performance from those who are faster at remembering the names.

Engineer is good at his field but when inquired about space and medicine, he might answer about those fields immaturely. It was his choice to learn to become an engineer so he remembered everything in that field. But it is also true that there is no force on this earth that has abstained that person from remembering the names of other fields. If he knows nothing about other fields, it would be a fault on his side, not nature's side.

It is also true that with poor memory skills people can get ahead in their lives, but that moment of reaching the peak comes at a higher cost. The quicker you remember the names, and effectively you recall them at the correct moment, the higher becomes the chances to achieve success in your life.

Remember, this phenomenon is not limited to the education field only. It is involved in almost every aspect of human life. Our relationship improves when we can recall the memories quickly when sitting in the gathering. Our political speech can impact millions only if we recall all the rhetoric statements that have the potential to manipulate the sentiments of the masses. Everything has to do with the efficiency of remembering the names. Above all, effective communication is also linked to this secret.

Would you believe in a doctor when you go for a routine check-up and you listen to him saying, I don’t remember the name of medicine, let me just check it on Google? That would be your last visit to that doctor for sure.

A similar thing happens to us when we take on any responsibility. Everyone expects us to be the best at taking that responsibility. What they are alluding to us is that they expect us to remember the names of things accurately effectively.

This is an unpopular way of looking at human behavior. But when you put all the knowledge at one side and deep dive into the underlying meaning of this methodology, you will understand how commonly embedded this unpopular concept is inside any human brain. We are all functioning this way yet we fail to acknowledge it.

Now that you know how humans build trust. Try remembering the names from today.

Thank you for your company!

Steal like an artist by Austin Kleon

Book Cover (Source: Tapan Desai) Summary (informal) Everyone wants to become something in his life.  There’s no single formula to achieve one’s desired destination.  In this rapidly changing information climate, everything has become more competitive and less rewarding for those who do not pay more attention to details.  It is healthy to settle one’s mind to steal ideas productively from those who have experimented with them successfully.  There’s no harm in stealing ideas as there’s nothing as new to the world today given the scale of information exchange around the globe due to the Internet.  Since everything is already available on Google, one must go there and copy from authentic sources.  Make changes in it and sell it to the world. While you are working on the project, keep an eye on wrongs that might discredit the efforts.  Copying from a single person is plagiarism, but doing the same thing from more than one is research.  A good artist always credits his work to those from w

Why reading books is important?

There can be various aspects to this question. However, I will stick to a few points to convey to your mind why reading is an important exercise. Human is social being and to understand the world we need to learn new information constantly.  The learning must be slow and fast. No one can learn all the information available out there at once. For Humans to learn and that too authentic, a companion/teacher is required. Books can be trustworthy teachers in our lives. As we know, the human brain is a unique engineering tool. We can see things and make a judgment about them. We can hear the voice and make a particular opinion about it. We can walk on the ground and make an analogy of how it’s different from other parts of the world. We continuously improvise our ideas as we get updated information passing through our heads. This trait is unique and makes us better than Chimpanzee. Our minds require a continuous flow of information, and this information can be about anything, even the color

7 lessons I learned from the Al Chemist

Lesson #1:- Humans are tested with calamities and challenges to build a stronger intellectual ground where they can protect their lives and become able to create a better world for future generations.  Those who risked their lives and followed their dreams, they have got the victory. And those who did not risk, and played it safe,  merely stopped where they needed to start. Lesson #2:- Santiago in the search of his legend (true inner self) encountered challenges and a few close calls to death. In the search for treasure, he fearlessly bids on his life by selling his sheep to an old King joins a crystal shop in an unknown part of Africa, and finally embarks on the longest journey towards the Pyramids of Egypt.  His passion to find the unknown treasure based on his audacious belief in omens led him to overpower all the negative forces that could have stopped him from achieving his legend. Quote “If you believe in yourself worthy of the thing you fought so hard to get, then you become
