Philosophize It

 Waqar Ahmed | Blogger

Let there be some light in the darkness. May there be some sane minds and open-minded brains. Flowers no doubt leave an unforgettable impact on the heart – a similar thing happens when someone falls in love. Man, no matter how cruel, still would want to have a peaceful sleep. That shows that we can’t be separated from nature’s true calling for harmony.

The understanding of meaning in life is important as it liberates one’s mind from doubts and disbeliefs. The chamber of thoughts and decision-making process is an integral part of an individual’s sovereignty. And sovereignty needs to be protected from all possible threats especially from the deviant grasp. The guardians of sovereignty are thoughts, perception, and willingness to understand and adapt. If any of these guardians fail to fulfill their duty, the sovereignty of the individual will be compromised.

New information consumption needs to be analyzed based on morality and shared values. One needs to ask this every often when new information knocks on the door, “Am I compromising my sovereignty?” And the answer will be far clear like a crystal.

Emily Elizabeth Dickenson: The greatest Poet

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all, - And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. - I’ve heard it in the chilliest land, And on the strangest sea; Yet, never, in extremity, It asked a crumb of me. In the thorns, we found strength and in flowers we found pain. That is the situation you caught in when you read the lines of Emily Dickenson. The finest poet of the 19 th century enlightened with the figments of death and immortality in her words. Emily is a great American poet and deserves to be known across the globe for her art. Her writing had brought her to a point where there was no fear to be afraid of. Not even her death. America at that time was facing some identity challenges as women were yet to be emancipated from their Kitchens and there were no vote ri...

Steal like an artist by Austin Kleon

Book Cover (Source: Tapan Desai) Summary (informal) Everyone wants to become something in his life.  There’s no single formula to achieve one’s desired destination.  In this rapidly changing information climate, everything has become more competitive and less rewarding for those who do not pay more attention to details.  It is healthy to settle one’s mind to steal ideas productively from those who have experimented with them successfully.  There’s no harm in stealing ideas as there’s nothing as new to the world today given the scale of information exchange around the globe due to the Internet.  Since everything is already available on Google, one must go there and copy from authentic sources.  Make changes in it and sell it to the world. While you are working on the project, keep an eye on wrongs that might discredit the efforts.  Copying from a single person is plagiarism, but doing the same thing from more than one is research.  A good ar...

Make your Morning Special

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science There is a blessing in the morning routine, early wake-up, doing breakfast, and starting off with the most important work. Nature runs its clock between the sunrise and its fall. It is also the most productive time a human can ever have. When someone starts off the day with morning, 99% chances are that everything will go well. Remember, the start of the day with a positive attitude is important. Remind yourself that you are the most important biological creature on this earth and you have a purpose to serve. Start with light work in the morning such as reading a newspaper. It will set your tone for the rest of day because you’re signaling your mind that if you can accomplish this little act, you can do anything for the rest of your day. Morning is precious time. Be careful and divide your day from important to less important things. As the day goes by, so does your potential. Make sure that by the end of your day you have accomplished remark...
