Confidence is the product of Self-belief

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science

Many people desire to become the most successful on this planet, but they fear to step outside their comfort. They worry of the notion that they have to speak to large audiences if they choose leadership positions. They think of themselves as less important which ultimately create trouble with thinking positive about oneself. Loss of confidence is the prelude of all failures. Many still worry about others’ opinion about themselves. They always try to fit into others expectation which naturally results into unprecedented anxiety and sense of worthlessness.

What if, I told you that, in order to succeed in life, you only need to be a little bit more confident than you are at this moment?

Confidence is the key to so many problems mostly linked to our physical surroundings. There are other things like spirituality, love, feelings about others; these cannot be changed with being confident. But, I can assure you that being confident in life will get you long ahead in life, especially in your career.

There are a few important things that help us become confident people. And I have combined all those important ingredients for your help as follows:

Your confidence is a reflection of your personality. First, you need to understand that, confidence is not linked with one’s skin color or religion, or any political background. Neither focusing on these factors would ever make your confidence.

Your confidence is linked to a few important factors, like:

Personality

People with great business & jobs invest in their personality grooming. They start wearing expensive clothes which ultimately makes them more confident than they were without expensive dresses on their body. Whether you agree with this point or not, but it’s a real fact. Good clothes do have a huge impact on our personality.

Knowledge

Now, let’s be clear here. Personality is not all about wearing brand clothes. Defining it with that definition would belittle the essence of human perspective towards personality. But, there are other aspects to personality grooming as well, which add to the confidence-building measurement. Knowledge is also one of those factors. You need to have great fluency in whatever you identify yourself with. Be good at explaining your career. Without hesitation, your concepts & facts should be correct related to your chosen field. It would bring hell lots of confidence.

Communication skills

Once you have worked on all the mentioned points above. Now is the time to learn how to communicate with others in a better way. No matter how knowledgeable in your field you are, it won’t be of any help to you if you cannot explain that to any other person clearly. So, work on your communication. The important thing in communication is to think clearly. To think clearly, you need to be better at writing skills. Yes, writing provides you great opportunity to push your limits and think outside the box. Believe me, once you learned how to write eloquently, you will naturally be good at making your words stand out in public speeches or at a friend’s house dinner table. So, improving your communication would provide you leverage on others which would ultimately bring more confidence into your personality.

Be a good Storyteller

People always want to share their dinner table with that person who can make them laugh and share a great life experience. It’s easier said than done. So, I want you to work on your communication skills. But, at the same moment, think about greatness. If you want to be the master of your world, then learn how to tell good stories. It’s a part of communication. I know, it’s the hardest part, but hey, it’s possible. Being good at storytelling would definitely break the ceiling of your shyness. You would be the most confident person in any room you would ever enter, given that you know how to entertain others with amazing story skills. So, start working on this skill and you will never lose your self-confidence again ever.

Be Positive

Never think about being less important. The comparison with others in itself is wrong thinking. Every human is unique on his own. All of us are equal with equal time (24hrs), and the same opportunities. So, think about yourself as the most valuable person. Always prioritize your personal opinions and learn to respect others' opinions as well. So, start thinking positively about yourself and you will be the most confident person ever.

Thank You for your company!

Steal like an artist by Austin Kleon

Book Cover (Source: Tapan Desai) Summary (informal) Everyone wants to become something in his life.  There’s no single formula to achieve one’s desired destination.  In this rapidly changing information climate, everything has become more competitive and less rewarding for those who do not pay more attention to details.  It is healthy to settle one’s mind to steal ideas productively from those who have experimented with them successfully.  There’s no harm in stealing ideas as there’s nothing as new to the world today given the scale of information exchange around the globe due to the Internet.  Since everything is already available on Google, one must go there and copy from authentic sources.  Make changes in it and sell it to the world. While you are working on the project, keep an eye on wrongs that might discredit the efforts.  Copying from a single person is plagiarism, but doing the same thing from more than one is research.  A good artist always credits his work to those from w

Why reading books is important?

There can be various aspects to this question. However, I will stick to a few points to convey to your mind why reading is an important exercise. Human is social being and to understand the world we need to learn new information constantly.  The learning must be slow and fast. No one can learn all the information available out there at once. For Humans to learn and that too authentic, a companion/teacher is required. Books can be trustworthy teachers in our lives. As we know, the human brain is a unique engineering tool. We can see things and make a judgment about them. We can hear the voice and make a particular opinion about it. We can walk on the ground and make an analogy of how it’s different from other parts of the world. We continuously improvise our ideas as we get updated information passing through our heads. This trait is unique and makes us better than Chimpanzee. Our minds require a continuous flow of information, and this information can be about anything, even the color

7 lessons I learned from the Al Chemist

Lesson #1:- Humans are tested with calamities and challenges to build a stronger intellectual ground where they can protect their lives and become able to create a better world for future generations.  Those who risked their lives and followed their dreams, they have got the victory. And those who did not risk, and played it safe,  merely stopped where they needed to start. Lesson #2:- Santiago in the search of his legend (true inner self) encountered challenges and a few close calls to death. In the search for treasure, he fearlessly bids on his life by selling his sheep to an old King joins a crystal shop in an unknown part of Africa, and finally embarks on the longest journey towards the Pyramids of Egypt.  His passion to find the unknown treasure based on his audacious belief in omens led him to overpower all the negative forces that could have stopped him from achieving his legend. Quote “If you believe in yourself worthy of the thing you fought so hard to get, then you become
