Principles of a Happy Life

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science

Honesty: This is probably the biggest success of one’s life. Being honest to oneself is a symbol of courage.
If one wants to find the truth, then one needs to be honest with oneself.
Things get a lot easier when people value honesty over manipulation.
A person can send a no bigger gift to anyone than an honest friendship handshake.
When you are showing honesty to someone, you are already developing a relationship that’s based on trust and respect.
Honesty is connected with trust. The more you practice honesty, the more people will believe in your words.

Learning: Nothing is more important than taking time to learn something new every day.
Life in exact terms begins when we start taking charge of our own decisions.
Based on critical learning, we can make correct decisions.
Many people make decisions, but the execution is flawed which results in chaos.
The person ends up in depression.
Though the intentions were honest, the direction one followed was misleading.
It is important to have active learning skills.
Time moves faster, and new challenges are shoring up with every passing day.
It is important to stick with the present and get all the tools available to make smart decisions.
Success is guaranteed in the 21st century if we hunt for the relevant information, and also be prudent with its effective execution.
Healthy: No matter how busy you think you are; make health your topmost priority of life.
What would success mean if you lose your health on your way to reaching destiny?
So be smart and prioritize your health above everything you have got on your table.

Sportsmanship: You are busy, I get it.
But still, there’s a person inside you who wants to deliberately procrastinate and be lazy.
Instead of wasting your time on useless social media scrolling; utilize that time playing sports, the real sports that require physical friction of body.
You will feel a great change inside of your brain & body.

Relationship: A human is a social animal.
We cannot live a normal life without interacting with other people.
So if you have to interact with someone else to live a healthy life, then why not make a fresh & positive interaction.
Develop the habit of providing positive interaction experiences to other people.
Try to be smart and respectful to others, It is the key to a healthy and long relationship.

Write: We all want to be heard, but sometimes there are things that we don’t want to tell anybody.
We are afraid of sharing those secrets with others, to an extent that, we don’t even recall those memories to ourselves.
But I would recommend you to start keeping a diary with the subject title “Talking to myself.”
Write secrets that you don’t want to talk to anybody; it would help tremendously in releasing your pain and provide you the courage to face your insecurities smartly.

Emily Elizabeth Dickenson: The greatest Poet

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all, - And sweetest in the gale is heard; And sore must be the storm That could abash the little bird That kept so many warm. - I’ve heard it in the chilliest land, And on the strangest sea; Yet, never, in extremity, It asked a crumb of me. In the thorns, we found strength and in flowers we found pain. That is the situation you caught in when you read the lines of Emily Dickenson. The finest poet of the 19 th century enlightened with the figments of death and immortality in her words. Emily is a great American poet and deserves to be known across the globe for her art. Her writing had brought her to a point where there was no fear to be afraid of. Not even her death. America at that time was facing some identity challenges as women were yet to be emancipated from their Kitchens and there were no vote ri...

Steal like an artist by Austin Kleon

Book Cover (Source: Tapan Desai) Summary (informal) Everyone wants to become something in his life.  There’s no single formula to achieve one’s desired destination.  In this rapidly changing information climate, everything has become more competitive and less rewarding for those who do not pay more attention to details.  It is healthy to settle one’s mind to steal ideas productively from those who have experimented with them successfully.  There’s no harm in stealing ideas as there’s nothing as new to the world today given the scale of information exchange around the globe due to the Internet.  Since everything is already available on Google, one must go there and copy from authentic sources.  Make changes in it and sell it to the world. While you are working on the project, keep an eye on wrongs that might discredit the efforts.  Copying from a single person is plagiarism, but doing the same thing from more than one is research.  A good ar...

New Year's Gift - 2022

Waqar Ahmed | The Productivity Science What would be a better gift than changing personal thoughts from being negative to a positive person? It is okay to be cynical, it allows us to vent out our anger, but that’s not the permanent solution to a Human’s mental frame. We need to have a peaceful mind to make better judgments about our own life for the long run. That’s why it is important to have some positive life aspects. Without positivity, it would not be an easier job to find the truth and make the right decisions. The reality of life is deeply connected with the nature of reality, and without any pursuit of truth, we cannot find reality in life. This year, let’s begin by making this resolution that, no matter what, I will always find something positive about everything. It will help get rid of the trash (useless thoughts) inside of our minds and make us a better version of ourselves.
